Shower Thoughts is an illustrated mini book containing a collection of wisdoms shared by the users of Reddit, web's greatest discussion forum. The selection of quotes is directly inspired by the wondering minds of Redditors, who shared their thoughts on r/showerthoughts - the subreddit created to bring people together in the phenomenon of having the most brilliantly abstract thoughts whilst our time in the shower.
Water like typography was used for some of the inside pages to match the Shower Thoughts title on the cover. She shape of the typography, along with simplistic, crayon-like lines was to resemble the shapes of various items associated with the featured thought. This leaves us with an important question - how often in the shower do we think about food?
Along with a real life mockup of the book, I also printed and put together an old fashioned flipbook that features a short animated version of the cover typography.
